Dr. Martin left a large, overcommitted practice to open Gladbrook Pediatrics. Our philosophy is to provide compassionate and gentle, individualized care for our medical families, with the respect and dignity each family deserves. Dr. Martin supports attachment parenting and encourages breastfeeding, when possible.

At Gladbrook, our visits are scheduled to give each patient the time they deserve in a relaxed environment. This allows time for proper diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, as well as unhurried time to provide parental guidance, teaching and support. Questions are always welcome and given thoughtful consideration with the most up-to-date answers. Gladbrook Pediatrics is proud to provide same-day access to your child’s physician for his or her medical situation.

Michael Martin, M.D.:

Dr. Martin is a board-certified pediatrician who limits his practice to infants, children and adolescents. Dr. Martin is ranked as a Top Pediatrician in Rochester, New York by the International Association of Pediatricians. He is spotlighted in “The Leading Physicians of the World”.

Dr. Martin has practiced medicine for over 25 years and is a graduate of the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Martin is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a long-standing member of the Monroe County Medical Society. Dr. Martin also serves as an attending physician with admitting privileges to many local hospitals.

Gladbrook Pediatrics is a teaching site for the ambulatory clerkship of the University of Rochester Medical Center, where Dr. Martin retains a faculty appointment.

Linda Petote Martin, RN:

Mrs. Martin serves as Director of the practice. Mrs. Martin is a Registered Pediatric Nurse with over 25 years of experience and is also a lactation consultant. Mrs. Martin has taught nursing in Syracuse, New York and at Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York. Mrs. Martin is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Rochester and Syracuse University and is licensed to practice in New York State.
